SUMMARY:You Matter Here Mural
DESCRIPTION:“YOU MATTER HERE” \nThree simple words\, but for many people\, they’re words we don’t hear enough. \nThis mural was created as a reminder for anyone walking by\, whether you’re having a good day or carrying something heavy\, that your presence matters. East Austin has always been a place built on culture\, resilience and community\, and this piece is meant to give something back to the people who move through it every day. \nMental health conversations don’t always happen out loud. If this mural makes one person pause\, breathe\, or feel a little less alone\, then it’s doing its job. \nYou matter here. Siempre. \nThis project is supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department.
