DESCRIPTION:Contemporary Brazilian Social Dance Form and Technique \nThis class centers contemporary Brazilian social dance as a living cultural form shaped by Afro Brazilian rhythm\, social exchange\, and embodied musical dialogue. The practice welcomes new dancers while continuing to challenge returning participants through careful attention to foundational movement\, technique\, and musical structure. Emphasis is placed on how technique supports listening\, how rhythm organizes relationship\, and how social dance carries cultural memory through the body. \nInstruction prioritizes clarity\, consent\, and shared responsibility in partner dance. The learning environment is welcoming and inclusive\, supporting dancers in developing grounded technique\, responsive connection\, and expressive range over time. \nOpen to all experience levels. El enfoque se centra en cómo la técnica apoya la escucha\, cómo el ritmo organiza la relación y cómo el baile social transmite memoria cultural a través del cuerpo. \nLa enseñanza prioriza la claridad\, el consentimiento y la responsabilidad compartida en el baile en pareja.
