Join us Thursday\, 1/29 at 6:30-9pm for Fusion Freestyle Exploration with Dallas-based Hailey Summers followed by our all-styles session at East Side Performing Arts. \nAs a seasoned fusion mover\, Hailey will break down the foundations of contemporary dance\, hip-hop\, funk styles\, and club styles to low bmp soulful grooves. DESCRIPTION:Join Early Era Collective this summer for Embolden Workshop\, happening June 20-21\, 2025 at the Dougherty Arts Center! Through Embolden\, we strive to help Central Texas performance artists gain the business skills we were never taught\, prevent burnout\, and build community. \n\n\nDeveloped in 2021 by Early Era Collective\, Salvage Vanguard Theater\, and Ground Floor Theatre\, our 2025 rendition is a weekend full of professional development\, performance\, and networking.\n\n\n\n\n\nEvents include:\n\n\n\nMatching Talent with Business: a panel and Q&A with some of Austin’s most prestigious artists and arts professionals. (6/21\, 1:30-3:30pm)\n\n\nThoughts That Move: a live episode recording of five Austin-based artists discussing how race and art intersect in our city. (6/20\, 6:30-8pm)\n\n\nEmbolden Showcase: an open-mic style professional showcase open to the public\, and designed to rally the community around Austin’s talent! Performers receive stage time and professional videography/photography. (6/21\, 7-9pm)\n\n\nTuning Your Instrument: developing a daily movement practice for performance artists who run their own businesses.
