DESCRIPTION:The Paramount Theatre’s ultimate Pride party\, The Majestic Ball\, is returning to the stage on Saturday\, June 21\, with this year’s theme: “Mythological Mayhem.” \n\n\nThe event will transform the theatre into a lights-flashing\, music-blasting ballroom at the Paramount Olympus with sirens\, muses\, demi-gods\, giants and more. Featuring otherworldly acts by drag diva extraordinaires Diamond Dior Davenport and special guest Kennedy Davenport (RuPaul’s Drag Race\, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars) and the epic ball hosted by the Icon Natalie Lepore. Attendees are encouraged to dress in theme\, and all are invited to compete on stage in a variety of categories where they can win cash prizes and bragging rights.

Kena and Ziki have long been told that “good Kenyan girls become good Kenyan wives” – but they yearn for something more. When love blossoms between them\, Kena and Ziki must choose between happiness and safety. Initially banned in Kenya for its positive portrayal of queer romance\, RAFIKI won a landmark supreme court case chipping away at Kenyan anti-LGBT legislation.
