As an awardee, you are registered for Austin Tourism Marketing Training Digital Acceleration Program.
The program offers seven (7) Tourism Marketing Training Sessions for Fiscal Year 2025 recipients of Grant Programs funded by Hotel Occupancy Tax. These online educational sessions will provide training on:
- Optimizing your creative online presence,
- Maximizing your marketing efforts, and
- Looking at free and creative ways to increase your online presence
Structure Overview:
- Timeframe: Seven (7) virtual sessions were offered beginning in October 2024, with additional sessions held in January and February 2025. All sessions are available on-demand via the learning platform. Access, notifications, and reminders are sent through Submittable.
- Class Duration (approximately): 1.5 hours per session
- Access: Recordings are available in both English and Spanish (use the Spanish flag toggle in the upper-right corner of the screen for Spanish language videos). All recordings, including those from FY23 and FY24, are available to Grantees through the end of their grant cycle.
- Cost: None; all training is offered at no cost to Grantees.
- Required: Grantees are required to complete any two (2) of the seven (7) training sessions and submit a participation survey for each. Viewing additional sessions is strongly encouraged.
- Optional Support: Grantees may sign up for free one-on-one Virtual Office Hours with by Miles Partnership staff for added guidance on marketing topics. Appointments can be requested within the learning platform after logging in.
Reporting Participation in Submittable
To fulfill the requirement, report your viewed session and participation via the Miles Partnership Attendance Confirmation Form inside Submittable.
Account Setup
- All users will log in at https://austin.academyfortourism.com/login-page
- Previous Grantees: Your account remains active. Log in using the same email and password. If you’ve forgotten your login credentials, use this form to request a reset. Please note: Returning Grantees are required to complete different training sessions than those completed in past grant cycles.
- New grantees: Use this form to request accounts for any staff members who need access to the training sessions. Any new accounts have a temporary password: Temp123 (The password is case-sensitive, with a capital “T”).
