DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate queer family\, creativity\, and community with us during Austin Pride weekend! \nUnder the artistic leadership of Wanda Montemayor\, LPC-S\, ATCS\, ATR-BC\, RPT-S (she/her) and Zachary Van Den Berg\, LPC\, ATR-BC (he/they)\, this all-ages art event invites participants to create\, connect\, and play in a vibrant\, welcoming space. \n✨ Featured Art Activities: \nJewelry Making – Design necklaces and bracelets with beads\, letters\, and charms \nCeramic Tile Making – Contribute to an Art in Public Places Community mosaic mural to be installed on South Lamar – led by Wanda Montemayor. \nPrintmaking – Explore identity and joy through colorful prints \nLaugh and be dazzled by Drag performer Ritzy Bitz\, who will be MC’ing an epic raffle and closing the celebration with a fantastic sing-along you won’t want to miss! \nThis event is centered on healing\, identity\, and chosen family\, offering expressive art activities for kids\, teens\, adults\, caregivers\, and LGBTQIA+ community members. \nWe’re proud to be collaborating with partners like T.E.N.T. (Trans Empowerment & Network of Texas) and Gender Unbound\, along with local artists and community leaders who will be sharing resources\, performances\, and ways to stay connected beyond the event. \nWe hope to see you there!
