Focusing less on perfection or preciousness\, and more on energy\, intuition\, and finding your own visual voice. \nHolly has exhibited work in Cambridge\, Berlin\, Portland\, and Austin\, and brings a thoughtful\, down-to-earth approach shaped by both fine art and creative production. Her goal is to create a relaxed\, supportive space where everyone feels encouraged to experiment\, take risks\, and enjoy the process. \nThis workshop is open to all levels\, whether you’re picking up charcoal for the first time or looking to reconnect with your practice. \nCome draw\, eat cheese\, and make art alongside a great group of people. DESCRIPTION:Spend an afternoon carving\, inking\, and printing under the guidance of Las Cruces printmaker Mario Perez. This four-hour session walks you through every step of the linocut process: designing and transferring an image\, safe carving techniques\, inking\, and pulling prints by hand. All tools and materials are supplied. Bring a simple sketch or reference image (5″×7″ max) or choose from themed prompts; no prior experience necessary.
