SUMMARY:"LORE" FEATURING GOLIATH WAS BIGFOOT
DESCRIPTION:Panoramic Voices and local crossover ensemble Goliath Was Bigfoot proudly present Lore\, an eclectic concert experience celebrating cryptids\, critters\, and folklore. Repertoire ranges from choral to classic rock\, metal to Broadway\, and features bombastic instrumentals\, silly texts\, and even some sound effects. Additionally\, we’ll be premiering an original work by local composer\, Ritika Bhattacharjee centered around our favorite local lore: Austin’s grackles. \nWe’ll be performing TWO CONCERTS at the newly renovated Texas Science and Natural History Museum on UT’s campus on Saturday\, February 15\, one at 6pm and one at 8pm. IF YOU ARE SUPPORTING A FRIEND OR FAMILY IN THE CHOIR\, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHICH PERFORMANCE THEY ARE ASSIGNED TO—Not all singers will be in both shows. A list of singers per performance can be found here. \nCONTENT WARNING: This show contains a small number of expletives . \nTICKETS\nVIP (Early entry for first dibs at seating) – $45\nGA (Limited seating available\, first-come\, first-served; entry) – $30\nStudent (PreK-12 and University with valid ID) – $15\nStudents must show a valid student ID at the door. \nINCLUDED WITH YOUR TICKET:\nAll tickets include entry to the entire Science and Natural History Museum! We will send details about entry times for the museum exhibits (which will be available before your both before and after your concert time) closer to the performance. \nWe also welcome you to mingle with singers\, staff\, and instrumentalists at our 7-8pm social hour out on the large patio of the museum.
