DESCRIPTION:Join Red Light Lit Austin for an evening of poetry and storytelling\, tantalizingly paired with musical accompaniment\, burlesque\, comedy\, and live music. For our October show\, we’re diving deep into the haunting remnants of love— where passion lingers like a ghost in the night\, and the heart’s deepest desires refuse to stay buried. Prepare to be seduced by tales that stir the soul and chill the spine\, all wrapped in the sultry\, shadowy vibe that only Red Light Lit can deliver.\nLet’s see where the night takes us!\nThis project is supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department. \nABOUT RED LIGHT LIT:\nRed Light Lit is a small press and performance series.\nSince its founding in 2013\, we have published 10 literary journals\, produced over 300 live shows including in Austin\, Chicago\, Joshua Tree\, Los Angeles\, Portland\, San Francisco\, and Seattle.\nOur shows blend poetry\, prose\, art\, dance\, and music into a unique mashup of creative expression. We curate listening experiences that bring together artists from diverse genres\, providing them a rare opportunity to collaborate in a one-time live experimental event. We pride ourselves on folks leaving our events inspired to create and grateful for human connections.
