Brazilian artist Paula Maya is the 2024 Global Music Awards Silver Medal Winner in the category Best Instrumentalist. She’s from Rio de Janeiro’s South Zone, the birthplace of Bossa Nova. On Nov 22nd her monthly 1 hour set residency at the renowned Sahara Lounge will be celebrating 3 years, where you can listen to some of the best Brazilian Jazz in Austin and the US! Her renditions of classics of the Bossa Nova repertoire, and her great band diving into deep improvisations make this night a must! Her critically acclaimed new release Rio de Janeiro can be found on all major digital platforms and at live shows, where you can get a physical copy!
