3rd Annual Crown Act Festival: Celebrating Hair-itage, Health and Wealth

A black cultural festival with an extravagant natural hair show, live music and dance, soul food, band performances, black owned business vendors and financial literacy workshops in honor of the Crown Act, the legislation that made natural hair discrimination against people of color, illegal.
This project is supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department with jam packed performances from Zydeco, Samba, Step, Line dancing and Violin, to San Antonio’s sultry Saxophonist Jimmie Steemer II, and tap dancing sensation, Terrence Taps! This event has garnered international attention 2 years in a row and is expected to sell out so get your tickets fast!!!
