Applique Flag Workshop

March 2 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Come join us at the Munday Library, 2nd Floor for a fun and creative workshop where attendees will create a unique and personal flag using sewing and fusing applique techniques. Patrons will leave the workshop with a completed single sided parade flag (12”x18”) suitable for direct hanging, framing or flying. The workshop will be led by artist, Alexandra Robinson, a visual artist who creates flags in her own artistic practice. She will guide you through the process step by step, so don’t worry if you’re new to applique. All materials will be provided, just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! See you there!

This workshop is funded by the City of Austin’s Cultural Arts Division.
