Fuego Friday is Austin’s premier weekly celebration of Afro-Latin dance, music, and cultural heritage—bringing the community together through live instruction, social dancing, and performances. Each Friday, dancers of all levels are invited to experience the rhythms and traditions of Salsa, Bachata, and Brazilian Zouk, with rotating workshops taught by local and international guest artists.
This special edition on May 16 features instructors from Dallas, San Antonio, and New York, and showcases performances by regional dance companies and touring artists. The night includes multiple workshops across two rooms, followed by a vibrant social with live DJs spinning Salsa, Bachata, and Zouk until 3 AM.
With a focus on cultural exchange, community building, and artistic excellence, Fuego Friday provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all dancers—whether new to the scene or seasoned in the styles.
