Reuse on the Runway: A Night of Fashion, Cosplay & Drag

Join local nonprofit Austin Creative Reuse for the most creative runway show in Austin! Reuse on the Runway is a community fashion show for makers and creators of all kinds, offering an inclusive, judgment-free environment to celebrate their art. All looks in the show incorporate some element of reuse materials or techniques. Our goal is to challenge creatives to look at materials in new ways and to inspire the audience to rethink how they view fashion – that fashion can be both spectacular and sustainable.
This year’s show will feature more than 40 creators presenting 70 one-of-a-kind looks. Guests can also enjoy fun activities before and after the show, including a Glam Station, a Silent Auction, a full bar and food truck on-site, a live DJ, and an up-close meet and greet with designers and models.
Reuse on the Runway has been funded in whole or in part by the City of Austin’s Elevate Grant Program.
