World By Rana

November 22 @ 7:00 pm - 11:30 pm
$40 – $125
Step into World by RANA — an evening where art, music, and community collide in the most unforgettable way. The night is centered around Devante Robinson’s upcoming album, A Long Way From Home — a body of work told through four chapters: Home, Destiny, Purpose, and Legacy. These themes echo throughout every part of the evening, from the curated art installations and jewelry pieces, to the immersive live show that closes the night.

The journey begins with cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres, and conversation as you explore the gallery — featuring works by Christopher Chambers Xavier Alvarado, Xavier Valenzuela, Fabian Valenzuela, Jordon Williams, Miriam Leanne Blackwell, Darryl Demps, Kixkzrus, Asia Haywood, Zoe Spain, and KD. Each piece reflects the album’s narrative, blending nostalgia, struggle, faith, and triumph into tangible expression.

A live jazz set by Joseph Serrato will drift through the space, filling the gallery with warmth while you sip, connect, and even take part in our live auction.

Then the story deepens. Spoken word artist Jonathan Ezemba performs four original pieces — one for each theme of the album — guiding the audience through the emotional arc of A Long Way From Home. His words prepare the room for the transitions ahead, weaving the story into the fabric of the night.

From there, DJ Napalm lifts the energy higher, setting the pulse for the grand finale — Devante’s full live performance of A Long Way From Home, staged as a cinematic fusion of light, sound, and storytelling.
Presented by RANA, powered by Studio 22 Productions, and proudly sponsored by TX Sista’s Society, Art Direct, the City of Austin’s ACME Department, Unique Prints, Where Y’all At Though, ONE Fragrance House — this isn’t just another event. It’s an album brought to life, an experience to feel, to reflect, and to celebrate.
