Home Street Music is proud to announce their upcoming concert, to be held at Radio East in Austin. The event promises an unforgettable show of live performances from talented local bands and artists in a unique relaxed setting that music lovers will not want to miss.

The event is on Mother’s Day, and for this concert we want to honor and celebrate all of the amazing women that we work with: two of our board members (Devon Sproule and Mary Jo O’Neal), our social media and PR (Ali Holder and Heidi Labensart), the founder (Vanessa Lively), our musical acts (Raina Rose & Carrie Elkin), the poster artist (Kate Stevenson). We are surrounded and lifted by so many talented women.
In alignment with their mission to foster inclusive and therapeutic musical experiences, Home Street Music invites the public to meet the artists, volunteers, and organizers of this innovative program as they celebrate the power of music to transform lives and build inclusive communities.
“Our goal is to create a safe space where people who have experienced chronic homelessness can express themselves through music, art, and community,” says Vanessa Lively, musician and founder of Home Street Music. “Through our programs, we have witnessed radical changes in our participants, including self-confidence, self-expression, and stronger connections to the greater community.”
This free, family-friendly event is open to all ages and will feature live music performances by the Home Street Music Band, Carrie Elkin, and Raina Rose. There is plenty of on-site parking.
