FUTURE VISIONARIES: THE NEXT GENERATION OF ARTISTS IN AUSTIN

November 9 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Future Visionaries: The Next Generation of Artists in Austin

Where are Austin’s creative youth steering the future of art? Dive into the minds of our most ambitious teenagers and see the world through their vibrant lens. In a society emerging from a pandemic and navigating a tech-saturated landscape, their unique perspectives are more vital than ever. Join us for our upcoming exhibit at Bolm Arts, showcasing the talent and creativity of students from the Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy!

The Liberal Arts and Science Academy, our neighbor in East Austin, is a four-year comprehensive, public, urban, advanced academic magnet high school of approximately 1,450 students in the Austin Independent School District. The LASA Fine Arts program mission is to provide students with opportunities to grow personally, to develop their skills and talents, to form relationships with others, and to contribute to something bigger than themselves.

We are happy to be collaborating with LASA during the Austin Studio Tour! In addition to our gallery show, there will be open studios featuring over 25 artists, an outdoor art market, our annual indoor Badlucky Market, The Crow’s nest: a micro gallery incubator for experimental art and media installation, the Bolm Arts Boutique featuring small works and merchandise from your favorite Bolm Arts collective members, and more!

This project is supported in part by the City of Austin Economic Development Department.

Beverages sponsored by Liquid Death.

Opening Reception: November 9th 6-9pm
Open Gallery Hours: November 10th 6-9pm
Austin Studio Tour: November 16th & 17th 12pm-6pm
